Hello everyone. Long time follower, first time donator to this event.
Best of luck to all the runners and big thanks to everyone participating, attending, working behind the scenes and spreading the word. I'm happy to see mental illness (and more specifically, helping those who suffer from some form of it) is getting more attention these days. Because of it's near invisible nature in many cases compared to physical illness, it is often overlooked when it can be just as impactful in people's lives. Hoping that through events like this and charities like NAMI we can find ways to help all of those who suffer from forms of mental illness, and all of those they interconnect with. |
