Hello everyone, it's dat boi Falex here. Sitting here in my lonely recliner, eating ice cream, and watching all of you guys get to have fun together. While I would love to be there with all of you, life said otherwise, but I can't wait to see some of you at SGDQ. Now, I normally stay pretty silly and use a bunch of horse emotes, but it's time for a little bit of seriousness... I know, a shocker from me. But as I look back over 3 years ago, when I came into this community of only a handful of people (Of which only Andy remains), I never dreamed we would be where we are at today. I beat my head against the wall trying to organize races with a whopping 6 people! And now we have around 30 ACTIVE people playing the game. We're getting close to my goal of 100 people on the glitchless leaderboards, and you folks are doing the real leg work promoting our wonderful community to the masses. Thank you so much. I need all of you to know how important you are to me and many others. I know it gets said alot, but that is kind of a testament to how great this group is and some Twitch communities are. Each and every one of you has been a part of my life that, since losing my job, has spiraled down into mounting mental health problems that became a serious issue to overcome. I could not have done it without you people being there for me night after night. Without having you guys around to talk with, I don't think I would have been ready to pursue this wonderful job I now have, which coincidentally is why I couldn't attend. Thank you for everything you have done, and continue to do. You are my family, my rock, my friends. Theres too many of you there now and time is too short to go name by name, but I have to specifically thank Andy. You were the one who welcomed me with open arms into playing this game one evening, and have always been a genuine, kind and caring man that anyone should aspire to be. Your friendship has meant the world to me, and really helped me carry on when I lost the ability to help myself for a time. Good luck everyone, I hope the week has been an absolute blast. Put this $250 to naming Amarant Cornell, because his passing has hit me hard and events like this are here to help stop this from happening to more of our friends. I intended to donate more, but I used my budget trash talking and I just got the bill in for my dentist's boat that my caffeine addiction bought. Thanks for everything again, and BUTTS. |
