hey yall. parqbench here. got into speedrunning a few years ago in an emotionally/mentally tough time for me. very quickly got into doing amateur speedruns and got roped into the ff4 paladin% tournament.
that short experience, even though i havent had as much time for speedrunning since, was amazing; going from being a passive viewer to competing and doing pretty well--for one round--in a mini-tourney was such an encouraging and unique experience. ended up going to sgdq and meeting puwexil, essentia, and others. nothing like the speedrunning niche of the rpg niche of the online game streaming niche of the...world niche. moving to the UK in 6 days and hope to dabble again when i get there...good luck with the best FF ever! here's to the 100k goal, and for great opera singing, my favorite part of my ff6 attempts! |
