Okay, I have to ask. Ryu, can I ask you to do a special heartfelt warcry of my Alias? Just leave out the numbers... the tracker just adds those randomly because derp.

Since last year's marathon, and due to recent events, after the mental abuse I had gone through in the past five years, being involved with this community is slowly starting to help me feel better about myself. Many years ago, I thought I would never be here today. I have had a rather tasking battle with depression, anxiety, and self denial. But as Rizukun stated at last year's finale, the depression may win, but it doesn't win forever, and she could not have said truer words. I don't really talk that much to people in the discord or outside of the marathon, but I hope going forward that I continue to improve as a person even after becoming the toxic person I once was, and hope that I can come next year and be with the awesome people that make this marathon what it is. Life is hard enough as it is, and I'm proud to be a part of this cause with you all. Let's help those struggling with mental illness to realize there is hope. I didn't think there was hope for me all those years ago, but I sure as heck do now. Thank you everyone for what you all do, you all should be proud of yourselves. And I just wanted to give my final shoutouts to puwexil, Essentia and Brossentia, who were the starting point of getting me into this community, and helping me laugh and smile through troublesome times. That being said... Ryu, Bob, enjoy the rest of your birthday today. And please Ryu... if I could ask for the honor... would you please do a warcry of STEELFROST the Limit Breaker? |
