So you wanted D&D stories. Our current campaign is heavily exploration based. So my Aasimar Cleric/Paladin goes with a new party to a pyramid nearby. They fight against big bad's forces (an aboleth named Doowap) and the bee person elder offers them honey which temporarily connects them to the hive mind. Unfortunately, the aboleth had previously had control of one of our party members so used the connection to take out the hive mind. They all went into a coma. So next thing's next, we go into the pyramid because there was a vision of a pit of honey with a powerful artifact inside. We get there and the party is urging the person who was previously possessed to try to save the bee people. She wouldn't, so I step over to the pool. I have to pass 3 Charisma saving throws and I swear this was the most nervous I have ever been. I barely manage to squeak by and thus become the guardian of the powerful artifact and the host to the bee person hive mind while it heals for 6 months. I can now temporarily summon a swarm of bees on top of all of my other delicious damage goodness.
